wow - haven't posted in ages. not much doing, just same old same old. had my first pubs in for keeps, got lots more on the go. My little monkey is growing, now has fantastic vocabulary of car, na-na-na (banana), mum, dad, rubin, teddy, shoes and truck. says car and truck more than anything else. we have even taken to turning half-eaten bits of toast into imaginary cars/trucks.
I am enjoying the biggest loser heaps - someone tell Munnalita two mars bars is not an achievement... Damien is inspirational on that show. I reckon he'd be fitter than me atm. Oh well, I am ready for bed, till next time....

back!

So we are finally back. Had a good time though was a very squashy house at one stage with 9 adults plus Xavier. Had to fight for space! Anyway, not doing much now, catching up on housework plus trying to get motivated to get some pages going. Anyways, will leave you with some holiday pics. Enjoy!

growing up

Our little dude is growing up so fast. He's such a little boy now. No baby-ness left. Sure, he still crawls up for cuddles but its all about trucks, dirt, engine noises and mischief. The little monster knows how to work the tv and the remotes, loves to crawl in under the fern in the backyard (where the dog hides out) and thinks that its funny to stand up and try and get out of his highchair. Ahh what ever happened to the innocence of youth?
In other news from the Adams household, we're getting ready for more Tommo time starting sunday. Just a short sojourn(?) this time of ten days. Hope the weather is very nice. Should be a full house this time. Also get FK projects assigned tomorrow. I was happy with my ideas this month so don't care which projects I get. Except for cards which I suck at!!! Scrapologie (great kit club I belong to) is having a DT search, they're looking for internationals as well. Comp would probably be tough!!
CHA sneek peeks are out as well. I'm loving Scenic Route with the vines/flowers on grid background combos, Cherryarte with stars (my fave), Fontwerks Kate Teague papers and the Laser Studiowerks papers. Love CHA time. Credit card doesn't though. Anyway take care, will see you all in a while. Might have a layout to post by then. trying to work on my Ali word for the year (mine is brave). Have a great quote and everything to incorporate but no motivation to cut and paste. Oh well. It will come (I'm thinking stick with quality, not quantity this year)

Hi, been feeling very sick - spent the last two days in bed, dizzy, nauseous. just yuck. Justin was sooo helpful, looked after xavi for me while I recovered. Managed to stumble out of bed this morning. Feel a little better today. Yesterday was our 2nd wedding anniversary. How time flies huh? I love my husband sooo much. I'm glad he's in my life. He brings out the best in me. we watched a good Aussie move the other night. It's called Jindabyne. Pretty thought provoking and a bit chilling. Watch out for old dudes in Jeeps.......No layouts to share today. Have my next For Keeps design brief on its way this afternoon - hope I can think of something creative!!! Am also teaching at LSS tomorrow, which is good cause I need the cash. Have some stamps and papers that keep calling my name!!! What was I saying about a thrify year? See ya!

Said goodbye to kimmy, sad she's leaving.....got some beeeautiful photos of her though as she was all dolled up to go to a wedding this afternoon. Great scrapping material. Anyway, above is today's scrapping effort. Thought tonight I will give one of the effer dares a go. Will see! Bye for now!

Hi. Made this pretty little journal this morning for my sister Kimmy. She's moving to Brisbane on Monday to live. It's such a long way away. We'll miss her. Xavi and Jacko will especially. Heading back to Orange to Mum and Dad's tomorrow for a goodbye lunch with the family.

Xav had injections this afternoon and is now sleeping. Thankfully he didn't wake at all last night. Yay!. Managed to snare a zingboom kit for feb. I'm so excited. And I tracked down some papers Ali Edwards used in a Cocoa Daisy kit. What a good day. Have a few more layouts to share. See you soon!

the rooster's been at it again

As you can tell from the post title, the rooster is back, and crowing rather early in the Adams' household. At 3.30am this morning. Yes. 3.30AM. We cuddled, walked around, tried to sleep in mum and dad's bed but, alas, it was not to be. So at 4.00am I got up with the rooster, and he happily ate weetbix and raisin toast, had milk, played with cars, watched t.v. Then decided at 6.00am to go back to bed. So did I. Thankfully Justin got the mid- morning shift for me and I got up at 10.30am. But I'm dead tired still. We went to mother's group in the arvo and a couple of the girls are headed back to work, one's pregnant again (wish it was me). Justie does tell me we can start to try again (after a few wines/beers), but I think we'll wait another month. I think about how much I would love another baby but it would be hard work. I spose i'd adjust. anyway at the top is today's layout. I love it. see you again tomorrow.

Morning all, well its actually just about bedtime for me. Had a good day, Justin took xav and I to the Ox for lunch. Was great food, pretty cheap too. Got some cool photos in the park as well. Here's today's layout of the day. I'm pretty tired and can't wait to sleep so here's hoping this works quick! See you soon!

Happy 2007

Well, its a new year, and I've decided to blog. Seems like a good idea now - maybe ask me again in six months time. We're not up to much on the homefront, Justin's watching cricket, Xav's playing with the truckload of Christmas/birthday/Baptism goodies. Lucky we've only got one kid...I don't think we'd have fit much more stuff in the car home. Speaking of which, the little man has his injections on friday. Last set till he's 5. Justin's coming to assist - I told him I think it's a necessary parental ritual so he had to come (he doesn't like needles that much, but hey, who does?). Anyway, I'll leave you for today with a layout (I've been cranking out one per day since we got back!). Things I will do this year. See you soon,

P.S (if you're wondering about the blog title, it's all I could think of, but it's Justin's nickname for me (champ - don't know why but that's it!)
